Bernstine Announces Funding for Hufnagel Road Improvements

BUTLER COUNTY - Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) today announced $468,928 in state funding has been awarded to Muddy Creek Township through the PennDOT Multimodal Transportation Fund to repair and resurface Hufnagel Road.
The project will address needed improvements to the roadway, helping provide a safer and more reliable route for residents, businesses and emergency responders who use Hufnagel Road.
“We need to maintain our roads to keep our communities safe and connected,” said Bernstine. “This funding will allow Muddy Creek Township to make needed improvements to Hufnagel Road and ensure this roadway remains safe and dependable for the people who rely on it every day. This will benefit residents while also supporting businesses, tourism and economic growth.”
The funding is provided through PennDOT’s Multimodal Transportation Fund, which supports transportation projects that improve safety, mobility and connectivity in communities across Pennsylvania.
