Bernstine Announces Upcoming Town Hall Meetings, Veterans Event
May 7, 2026
BUTLER – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) today announced three upcoming community events, including two town hall meetings and a veterans event.
Bernstine will host an Ellwood City Town Hall Meeting on Monday, May 11, from 6-7 p.m., at the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department.
“This town hall is about listening,” said Bernstine. “I want to hear residents’ questions, concerns and ideas so the voices of local families are reflected in the decisions being made in Harrisburg. These conversations are critical to helping address the challenges facing our communities and Pennsylvania as a whole.”
Bernstine will also host a veterans event on Wednesday, May 13, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Middlesex Township Volunteer Fire Department.
“Our veterans and service members have given so much to protect our freedoms and strengthen our communities,” Bernstine said. “This event is a small way to say thank you and honor the dedication and sacrifice of those who have worn our nation’s uniform, while also giving me the opportunity to hear directly from veterans about the challenges they face and how we can better support them and their families.”
The event is free and open to all veterans and active-duty military personnel. A light lunch will be served.
A second town hall meeting will be held Thursday, May 14, from 5:30-7 p.m., at the Penn Township Municipal Building.
Topics at both town hall meetings will include legislative priorities, statewide issues and matters impacting Butler and Lawrence counties. Residents will also have an opportunity to ask questions and participate in the discussion.
No registration is required for any of the events. For more information, call 724-752-2120.
