HARRISBURG – Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Butler/Lawrence) announced today $1 million has been allocated for important improvement projects within the 8th Legislative District. This funding is provided through the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP), which aims to bolster economic growth and enhance community resources.

“I am excited to see these funds come to our district, as they will significantly enhance local facilities and promote job growth,” said Bernstine. “Investing in our community infrastructure is crucial for attracting new opportunities and ensuring a vibrant future for our residents.”

The funding will support two key initiatives:

Sarah Heinz House: $500,000 will be directed toward the upgrade, replacement, and revitalization of the Sarah Heinz House Camp, ensuring a safe and enriching environment for youth activities.

Stonecrest Business Park, L.P.: $500,000 will go toward the construction of a new industrial building at Stonecrest Business Park, aimed at attracting industrial investment and fostering job creation in the region.

RACP is a Commonwealth grant initiative overseen by the Office of the Budget, designed to support projects that contribute to regional economic, cultural, civic and recreational development.
