Bernstine Honors Veterans in 8th District on Nov. 4

ELLWOOD CITY – To show appreciation to veterans in the 8th District for their service to the country, Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Lawrence/Butler) is hosting an event “Honoring Our Veterans” on Saturday, Nov. 4.

The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Ellwood City Municipal Building, 525 Lawrence Ave., Ellwood City.

“All Americans are indebted to our veterans for their service, and we owe them our thanks for what they have done for the protection of the rights we exercise each and every day,” said Bernstine. 

Bernstine will provide veterans service information on VA benefits and programs that may be available to them. In addition, the veterans will have the opportunity to share a story about their service with those who attend.

“By recognizing and honoring these veterans, we allow generations of families and friends to understand, appreciate, and have a small glimpse into the sacrifices these fine men and women have given to our community and country,” said Bernstine.
