ELLWOOD CITY – As a way for local residents to further understand their rights with respect to the state’s firearms laws and protections, Rep. Aaron Bernstine (R-Beaver/Butler/Lawrence) is holding a Concealed Carry Rights and Safety Seminar on Tuesday, April 24, from 5-7 p.m. The free event will be held at Scott Township Volunteer Fire Department, located at
3712 Harlansburg Road, New Castle.
“There are a lot of misconceptions about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, and the purpose of this seminar is to present the facts,” Bernstine said. “An individual’s rights under Pennsylvania law will be explained in a concise manner so residents can be safe.”
Speakers will present facts and answer questions about Pennsylvania’s concealed carry laws, the Castle Doctrine and other valuable information regarding firearms safety and state gun laws.
Due to seating capacity, registration for the event is required. To register, contact Bernstine’s office at (724) 752-2120, no later than Monday, April 23.
